Puppy Play Date @ Kiki’s Pet Spa with PhysiPet
Hello PhysiPals and Pets,
We were fortunate to be invited to Kiki’s Pet Spa www.kikispetspa.com in Williamsburg [60 Broadway,
Brooklyn, NY] Monday June 11, 2012 for a Puppy Play date hosted by Empire of the Dog www.empireofthedog.com . The play dates are Mondays and Thursdays. A few adult dogs present today to keep the excitable puppies in line and show them a positive way to interact with each other and with toys to share in a neutral environment! We were able to introduce a PhysiPet or three to the pups and adult dogs throughout the sessions.
We had an opportunity to give a VERY energetic pup “BagPipe”, a personal play session SEE VIDEO Here: Bagpipe In Action with the PhysiPet with the PhysiPet, to allow him a way to burn off some of his excess energy to better interact with the other dogs! There was a very curious named Scooter that could not get enough of the PhysiPet and the treat toy attached. The pups at the play date took their turn interacting with the curious toy in their play area. Even with all the excitement with new people and smells, the pups and dogs were still very interested in the PhysiPet and took moments off from romping to play alone or with a parent or puppy pal and the PhysiPet!
The trainers had a graduation after the puppy play date, and allowed us an opportunity to introduce the PhysiPet. They loved the interaction and action of the PhysiPet. One intuitive dog tried to get his owner involved by trying to place the attached treat toy in his owner’s lap meanwhile, the normal action of the PhysiPet continued to return the Toy to the PhysiPet base and the starting position!
Before we concluded our demonstration at Kiki’s in Williamsburg, we were able to interact with a very treat motivated Bully Breed. She played with the PhysiPet in bliss for 6 minutes non-stop. We have included this clip and a few others in a short video capturing the event. We had a great time and hope to have the opportunity to interact at puppy play dates like Empire of the Dog. Remember, if you have a dog that is very intelligent but left home alone with nothing but an inanimate chew toy, this intelligent dog will FIND something else to occupy your dog’s attention. We offer the PhysiPet as a complete entertainment/treat dispensing/ environment enhancing toy that will instantly Stimulate your dog’s MIND and BODY!! ENJOY THE VIDEO BELOW:

PhysiPet and the Humane Society of New York
PhysiPet Product Review and Test at the Humane Society of New York
We had a great day at the Humane Society of New York today. We were able to test the small PhysiPet with a few of the cats at the rescue, and the Larger unit on the roof with 3 different dogs. We tested 1st with a female Pitbull, who quickly figured out how to retrieve the treat from the Holee-Roller attached to the PhysiPet proving how intelligent this breed is. The 2nd tester was a large yellow lab. The Labrador retriever was ball motivated, so we inserted his ball into the Holee-Roller, and he worked and played with the PhysiPet for the entire test (15 minutes). The final tester was a little Bulldog named Zoe. She was very active and immediately took to the PhysiPet. She loved the rope toy we attached to the PhysiPet. She pulled and shook the rope, and tackled the PhysiPet over and over. This was the most active interaction of the day.
We were able to capture some great shots of the Dogs and Cats interacting with the PhysiPet and we learned a lot from William Berloni. William was able to share some insights on how to use the PhysiPet as an exercise tool for the different breeds, like a shorter session for the Bulldog and a longer session for the Labrador! We will eagerly await the evaluation of the product test, and with what we have seen so far are very favorable!! We will post the link to the radio show when it becomes available next week! Till then, enjoy the pictures and video!! All the pets in the test are available for adoption!! Visit the Humane Society or your local shelter today and give a great pet a FOREVER HOME!! Enjoy the Video!!

136th Westminster Dog Show
136th Annual Westminster Dog Show
The Westminster Dog Show was a great event from the benching areas, to the Theater, where the “breed best” are judged against the standard! We were able to see the personality of the dogs, and their owners and the excitement both share during an event like the Westminster. We were given insight into the core personality of many breeds and how they became that way. Training, purpose of job or tasks, and breed characteristics were core reasons that explained temperment and play habits for most breeds. Some dogs, did not respond to the same characteristics most of the breed exhibits. These dogs truly had their own personality and very Particular play habits! Many had set regimens that often revolved around an upcoming event.
I learned quite a lot about the training these dogs go through to become some of the “Breed’s Best”. I also found out about the different dietary regiments the various breeders implemented to keep their dogs in the best physical shape or to allow them treats throughout their training. One owner showed me a McDonald’s Bag that his dog knew meant something good for him, where another dog was absolutely beside itself because it knew it would get an ice cream treat once he won his competition! I enjoyed the various cuts of the pets and the how many of the dogs mirrored their owners.
Once the competition was underway, the atmosphere changed. It seemed like the start of a Football Game, and the dogs knew it was show time. It was cool to see the dogs and their reaction when they and their handlers felt they had a good showing. The dogs Pace would change and you could see the confidence emitted through their trot! I really liked some of the bigger dogs shown in the first day. I saw breeds I never knew existed, like the Xoloitzcuintli (XO or Mexican hairless). There was a tall representative of the breed in the show that was spectacular. I loved to see the German shepherd win its herding class, and hoped it would place better in the Best in Show. I was able to take some pictures at the show. I hope you enjoy them!

Pre Westminster Fashion Show @ Hotel Pennsylvania NYC 2/10/2012
Pre Westminster Fashion Show 2012
Wow!! What an event for the Pre Westminster Fashion Show!! We did not expect to see so many sights and to have so many great pet enthusiasts at this event! We made so many great new friends and even saw some old friends too, like Nikki Moustacki, Bocker the Labradoodle and Marie (Bocker’s Mom), Rick Caran, Gregg Oehler (the organizor of the event), The Doggie Mom’s (Erika Searl and Cubby, Ashley Esperanza her two little lovelies, andKaren Biehl and Eli), and many more.
We were able to capture a lot of images of the Pets in attendance interacting with the two PhysiPet units we made available. We attached a treat ball called a Holee-Roller™ by JW Pet Products (Awesome Product) that allows pets to see and smell the treat within the Holee-Roller™, but not as easy to get it. By attaching it to the PhysiPet it encouraged all the Pets to play and tug the PhysiPet, but did not allow the pets to chew and work on the toy to bite through, destroying the Holee-Roller™ and getting the treat inside it! Many owners stated they had tried the product, but their pets had destroyed it, as all pets could if given the chance to take it somewhere and continuously work at a specific section of the treat ball! The PhysiPet does not allow this to happen, to the amazement of the pet owners, and they immediately saw the potential, that the PhysiPet would increase the lifespan of all their pet’s toys and playthings!!
There was a Fashion show for Pets and Pet Parents during the event! We were able to catch a few very colorful shots of Pets and Pet Parents in Cabaret masks and full costumes. We saw a doggie king, numerous doggie princesses, and a variety of costumes that would take a long story to describe! All costumes were in Great fun and did NOT seem to make any of the pets uncomfortable or crabby. We saw a purple dog (with a lion’s haircut) and a few Orange Tiger Pups!
We made great friends with the other vendors in attendance, and we were neighbors with Lite Craft a cool way to accessorize your pets’s outfit or give a poster more presence. We saw personalized stories with YOUR pet as the Narrator, very cool and a great way to encourage reading.
We were able to also get a ton of video with the pets, big and small, interacting with the PhysiPet. I learned that the size of the pet did NOT determine the toy chosen. We had Teacup Yorkies playing with the Larger PhysiPet and full grown German Shepherds playing with the Small PhysiPet. I found that they had their own Favorites and made their choices accordingly!
Enjoy the pictures and stay tuned for more!!

Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Pets
This weekend PhysiPet participated in the Mayors Alliance for NYC’s Pets Adoption Drive at the Metropolitan Pavilion. This Adoption drive was primarily for cats, a growing concern for local shelters. We were allowed to donate one of our Small PhysiPet units for Cat’s to the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Pets for the raffle. We were able to demonstrate the PhysiPet and how it improves the lives of all pets through exercise and mental stimulation.
Although this event was focused on Cats, we were able to make a few canine friends while we were there. We met Angel, an energetic Pup; we met Bocker (http://www.bocker.tv/Bocker%20presskit.pdf), a celebrity Labradoodle and Bocker’s Mom at the event.
Bocker took to the PhysiPet IMMEDIATELY, and put on a great demonstration for all those in attendance. We even met the Doggie Moms Erica Searls & Cubby, and Karen Biehl & Eli at the event.
Cubby was gracious enough to demonstrate the PhysiPet and how to get a workout while playing indoors.
We met Nikki Moustaki, a celebrity trainer in the Pet world and a great Champion for Nitro’s Law in Ohio, currently writing for a host of Pet Periodicals and Magazines.
Rick Cocran was also present, displaying his trained Yorkies and the talents they share. It was a great show with Basketball, feats of strength, and team sports! Truly amazing!! Great job Rick!
We ended our presence at the “Whiskers in Wonderland” event with a Princess Puppy playing with the Medium PhysiPet. I noticed a bright dress wobbling up to, and fully engaging the PhysiPet! I was fast enough to capture it on video.
I noticed how she cannot even bend her legs in her beautiful dress, but still tries to move the PhysiPet, Priceless!! Pet Exercise and a Productive treatment for Separation Anxiety with the PhysiPet has proved to be a great gift Idea for pet owners this Holiday Season!!
This was a great way to meet a new pet and give it a loving home. Many of the Cats at the event were adopted, but much more help is needed. Visit your local shelter or rescue organization to see how you can help.
If you are considering a new Pet for a gift, consider all the Pets in shelters and rescues that would love a new chance to live out their lives with a loving family. Have a Happy Holiday and don’t forget to include your Pet family members in the festivities!!
